I just **had to have** Gently Falling last year and yes this is the first time I've used it!! However, I also just **had to have** the Rhonna Farrer Flourishes v. 1 set and made sure I used it the same day I bought it, so hopefully it all balances out. :-) I'm really happy with these cards! I was inspired by inkpad: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...tly&perpage=48
The Autumn Leaves acrylic stamps don't take dye ink well at all, and they also don't stick to my acrylic blocks as well as the other clear stamps I've gotten from other companies. But they're so pretty I would buy them again anyways. :D They work just fine with Chalk Ink, which is what I used in Chestnut Roan for the flourish, and in Dark Moss for the Gently Falling image. The ribbon on the upper left is from Anna Griffin and is actually the 'wrong side' as the shiny side was too distracting, but the opposite side went perfectly with the Dark Moss. The metallic ribbon on the upper right is my fave, and was salvaged probably from a box of chocolates. The gimp on the card on the lower right is white with silver, but it actually goes very well with the browns and greens. I used two dollops of Liquid Glass product on the ends of the gimp, and held them in place with binder clips over top of scrap cardstock until the Liquid Glass dried.
The focal images with the gimp and I think the chocolate box ribbon are popped up on dimensionals, and the other are adhered flat onto the card.
Thanks for looking!
