Shhhh, this is a surprise for my friends daughter!! I have sent it a bit ago so hopefully she gets it before seeing it here!! This was SO MUCH FUN!! I have only done letters for Boys so far and let me tell you, it was soooo much fun making this girly letter :-)
I first covered the letter with the patterened paper and sanded the edges. Then I added the little prima flowers that I chalked with pink. I added brads for the centers and 2 had initials in it. As well, I added some of the leaves from the Sketch an Event (cut them apart) under the flowers. Then I added the butterfly that was colored with my Prisma pencil crayons and Gamsol. To balance, I free hand drew some curly things and colored them to match the butterfly. I then tied some ribbon and attached some homemade tags with Everyday Flexible Phrases II. I used a Qtip to ink around the edges of the words to add more color.
I am totally going to have to find more girls so I can make more pink and frilly altered letters :-)

I can tell you of a girl who would LOVE one, hehehe!
I must say this is the prettiest letter I have seen! You have totally inspired me to try one- this is absolutely gorgeous! Your friend's daughter will just love it. You did such a nice job on it and thanks so much for all the detailed info! Great free-hand work, too!
