I make sure to heat the tiles really well after I stamp my image with the staz-on ink. I place my tiles on a heavy piece of cardboard that is covered with release aluminum foil. This helps heat the tiles up quicker.....but you still have to make sure you heat them very well and then let the tile cool down completely before coloring them. I usually stamp my images before I go to work and heat set them, then they sit for two hours until I come home to finish them up. HTH
hello, i am making coasters for my family as chrismas gifts... but for the life of me i cant get the watercolor pencils i used not to smear!!! sharpies is the answer? where can i buy the variety of sharpies? i usually only see the basic black and blue colors! Express62486@yahoo.com

I found Sharpies at Sam's Club just this last week. Each pack came with 10 different colored Sharpie marking pens and were bundled together in 2 packs. Keep one for yourself and give the other as a gift to a fellow-stamper!
