I had made these for a friend that has breast cancer and decided to do them for another friend that has colon cancer as well with the blue awareness ribbon.
I used the SU punch for the inside punch but the outside main folder was just cut as I wanted it wider than the punch so it would hold the "blue" coconut kisses inside.
I took 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and cut it in half at the 5.5 mark. I then took the 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 paper and scored it across the 8 1/2 side at 2 1/4 and 3 1/4. Once scored, I took the paper and started cutting off at the 8 1/2 side every 2 inches. you can get 8 "tents" per sheet. Once cut and scored, I made a template and used it to cut the tops at an angle to make the "tag" shape.
I used the computer to generate the "saying", punched them out with the tag punch, glued the tags to the tent, punched holes in the top of the tents and used 10 inch ribbon to tie the bow. The kisses can be attached with just a piece of double sided tape or a pop up dot/dimensional.
They go pretty quick as I made 100 of them for her to give out to staff at the hospital when she goes for treatments and it probably took a total of 3 hours
This "ribbon" stamp was bought years ago through "Paper Zone" and it says on it "Paper Zone Exclusive by Rubber Soul".
