I first saw the stripes and large flower shape and an insert of smaller flowers. I started with a 7x5 card, added the striped paper I had handy. Made the matching posies insert and layered with a ribbon along the seam. Then I took some chipboard flower shapes (flowers already have been used) sponged the violet on, added heat and stick and dazzling diamonds to get the sparkly effect. I am thinking of pulling the large flower off as I liked the card without it and it may be too much.

Do I dare say I agree it may be over the top? I appear to be in the minority here though. Love the stripes and stamped flowers -- you matched the colors perfectly. (Don't hate me, stampers!)

I'm not sure about the large flower either (you and me can be banned to the doghouse together Lois!!) I DO like the polka dot flowers and the stripped paper combo!!

I like the sparkly flower but agree with Kay that a dotted center in it would really work! Maybe even a clear button over that dotted center! I love this stamp set...fun challenge-and nice card!
