I promised my SIL 7 months ago, that I'd make a notebook for her to store her sheet music. She's discovered that she has a great contralto voice and has been asked to solo often these days. So she wanted a nice place to store the programs and the sheet music she uses for the performances.
I took just a regular plastic notebook, sanded down the front & back and used matte medium to adhere the green patterned paper and the grey book binding paper on the spine. The part of the front with my SIL's image and musical staff was printed directly on "cloth paper" which I composed using PSE3. I glued on the ribbon and made the beaded string with the little gold note charm hanging from the bottom. I stitched the beaded string in a few places onto the ribbon. The inside front & back covers have little pockets to slide paper in. I covered those pockets with more Basic Grey paper and finished off the inside cover with more of the green/black patterned paper adding a little sticker phrase to the pocket.
