This is a metal frame from Target's Dollar Spot. I just covered it and made some of these cute little magnets with the clear glassmarble things on the top. Why did my colors run? I uesd Crystal Effects to attach the 'marble' and I didn't think the colors would run, but they did!

How cute! I guess I'm taking another trip back to Target...lol! I bought 2 of those frames with the heart magnets to give to my daughter for Valentine's Day, but these will make cute gifts with the little magnets. TFS!

My colors did the same thing at first...I realized after making like 200 of them that you need very little CE for the magnets. If you use like half a pea size then press it down the colors dont run, also try not to press to hard. I would lay the marble on top of the image and let gravity do most of the work. :) hope that helps.

Now, why didn't I think of this? I was just looking at these this morning at TARGET. I just hope they still have some when I get time to make another visit - I missed those cute mailboxes that everyone is showing off on SCS!!

very cute! I picked up a few of those just because I KNEW that someone would find something cute to do with them and then I'd be sorry!
As for the CE making the ink run, maybe you are using too much? it doesn't take a lot. If the problem persists then try giving your stamped and punched images a spritz with a clear acrylic spray sealer first then a dab of CD and put the marble on top. Actually, as I think back, I usually put a dab of CE on the bottom of the marble and then gently lay it on top of the stamped image letting the weight of the marble do the pressing down. Not sure if that makes any difference or not but I think that's what I did. Jan
