TLC 97 - a sympathy card
Added to Favorite
xxxx

Photo Details
Poster: etsdas

This challenge from a few days ago was to make a serene looking card. Though we do not like have to use them, most of us need a sympathy card from time to time, and I thought of that for this challenge.

Synamon, I am not sure if you are familiar with the Cuttlebug? THere are lots of threads about it in the General Forum. This is one of the dry embossing folders called Stylized Flowers. It creates a well defined raised image. I used some little cotton balls and chalk. My cotton ball was larger than the images, so it sort of spilled over the edges, but I did not mind that. I tried to make the raised part darker. I used a pale green on the stems but it did not show up here. I often use something other than grey but I tried to make this kind of subdued for a sympathy card.
