I just found out that my neighbor's husband died in a car crash yesterday. I have never had to actually make a sympathy card for a real purpose other than as a sample or swap. I don't know how to deal with death (I'm 32 and never even been to a funeral), so this was an especially difficult card for me to make. Now the hardest part - writing the message inside.
By the way, I was inspired by two artists in the gallery - Stampin'Christi and happystampertammy. Thanks for posting your beautiful works, girls!

I'm so sorry. Our next door neighbor was killed by a drunk driver in a car crash last Thanksgiving. She was almost like a second mother to me. It's a terrible thing to have to go through. My thoughts go out to you and the family.

Beautiful card. My thoughts are with you all. Just a thought...I save alot of cards that I have received and often times I will scan or copy the sentiments from them. I also have an American Greetings card program for the computer. It has just about any occassion you could think of. I use those sentiments. There is one particularly beautiful sympathy sentiment in there that I will try to email to you if I can figure out how to do it. Not very computer wise.
