I made this memo board for our neighbors for Christmas. I wanted to make one that was fun since she has 4 yr old twins and is constantly out and about. So I thought a memo board and a small calendar ($1) I got from M's would help out with their hectic schedule.
I used the thinner painter's canvas (pack of 3 - size 8x10) from M's. All paper from M's and used MM foam stamps for monogram. The CS on the top is stamped with M's $1 stamp and says "Life is Great Bundle of Things." The bottom half, I used clothespins that I painted with white acrylic paint and glued on to the canvas. The paper was mod podged on and used tacky glue to adhere on the back. I then used another piece of CS on the back to cover all of the ribbon ends. Since I could not get the brads all of the way through the canvas, I poked them through where the ribbon crosses and used small glue dots to adhere and it worked like a charm!
