For today's Ways to Use It Challenge, WT93 - Button Up. We were to use buttons in our design today, and knowing that I had all these great old buttons, I couldn't wait to stamp today -- hah, it has been an all day attempt in a major mess. First, couldn't decide what stamp set, picked out some buttons, nothing went with them, decided just to stamp and then get the button. Okay, no problem! Got the whole card assembled, found these great old buttons (thread still attached) that matched, put them on the card with glue, didn't like them, took them off, changed my mind put them back on, changed my mind again, took them off. Now the last time I took them off, it tore the paper, so now I had huge white marks on the layer, sponged it brown, too dark, put the darn buttons back on and called it quits! Thus, What a Mess!!!!

HAHA! Thanks so much for sharing the process that achieved this delightful card. I love the entire work. If only my "messes" looked this good when I was done! I rarely upload lately because my messes never make it to the scanner - they go directly in the recycling bin! LOL
All my best,
Nancy

Lovely card.
Soft and rich-looking.
I personally keep M's and SU in business with all the paper I "overadjust". It's nice to know that there are others, like me, who work at a new design.

hee hee, thanks for the story behind the card, I'm with Lindasue -- it's nice to know there are others who struggle! AND I think it turned out beautifully -- very soft and soothing! PERFECT buttons for this card!

now....Sherry......you created a beautiful card....and (if you hadn't shared your problems with us) we never would have known from the result that anything went wrong......however....if you can't stand looking at any card you create, just send it my way and I'll admire it for both of us
