We were so happy to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Puget Sound Affiliate. When all is said and done our goals will be exceeded and next year will be even better! Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving me the tools to start helping my community!!!

Ellen, this is great! I volunteer at our Las Vegas Komen Affiliate and would be interested in hearing the details of this event. I have been mulling over doing something stamping related. Thanks for sharing!

I worked directly with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Puget Sound Affiliate. I wanted to make sure that I had their "blessing" and the enthusiasm I have been greeted with has been fantastic. I can hardly wait to bring the checks to them once I have collected all the pledges, sales monies, etc. The plan is to make this an annual event - nothing like getting momentum - who knows we have Race for the Cure for those who can walk and run, the Danskin Triathlon which I did before my injury, and many other wonderful athletic money raisers, so now maybe we'll get a "Stamp Out Breast Cancer" annual event going as well. Who is up for this? All those in favor across the U.S. and Canada put your vote here - maybe I can help you all get started!

I wish I had known about your event sooner. I'm from McChord AFB (Tacoma)and I would have loved to participate. Way to Go! Every year, my daughter (4 yrs) and I particpate in "the Race" in memory of my mom. What a great way to combine two things dear to my heart, stampin and Cancer Research. You should be proud of yourself.
On a side note, what area do you demo in? I'm looking for a new demo as my current demo retired?
