I don't need the cuttlebug, I don't need the scalloped punches...
I decided to take a stab at replicating the look that Tracy AKA LodiChick had on this card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...lebug%20swirls, but without using the same supplies. Believe it or not, this card ONLY used SU! supplies and tools. The ovals were cut out using the coluzzle, the scalloping was done using the corner rounder, the embossed background is my attempt at recreating the swirled cuttlebug folder. I used the swirls from the Bodacious Bouquet brass template. I was very pleased with the results. I know that this takes longer, so it's not as ideal for mass production, but it works for me for the occasional card. Plus I find dry embossing really relaxing.

I'm repeating, "I don't need the Cuttlebug, I don't need the Cuttlebug,..." Thanks for showing us what a great card we can make using all SU supplies! I have everything you used for this card, and I'm planning to CASE it.

My version is...the cuttlebug is wrapped under the tree and the scalloped punch is next to impossible to find in Canada (hee!hee!). This card is fabulous - but likely took much more patience than I'm ever likely to find, so TFS.
