Having two girls so close in age, I knew there would be trials. I knew you’d go through the seasons of fighting and nagging-- and that being best friends wouldn’t happen overnight. There are sweet moments between the two of you, but I spend a good portion of the day keeping you from tormenting each other.
For Christmas, Grandma Cindy gave you (Libby) a jewelry kit. You spent a good hour during Katie’s naptime making a necklace. When you were finished, you turned to me and asked “Mommy, Can I give this to Katie for Christmas so she will know how much I love her?” It nearly melted my heart in two! We wrapped it and put it under the tree. You were nearly bursting with excitement for her to open it that night. She was so excited and loves her “Libby necklace” so much!

SUCH a sweet moment you were able to capture! So, she got an early Christmas present, huh? I guess it WOULD be hard to make your oldest DD wait till Christmas for her sister to open her darling gift!
