I wasn't sure what category to put this under, but wanted to share! I got the idea from my new issue of Scrapbooks, Etc. to store ribbon that is less than 1 yard on these bobbins in a floss caddy! These 2 hold most of my American Craft Elements ribbons.....a LOT of it! One of these $2 caddy's holds almost $200 (retail) of this ribbon! And they stack nicely on top of my desk and take SO much less space! And they're clear, so you can see all the patterns you have w/o having to hunt and dig!

I was worried about that too; I just did this so I'm not sure yet, but they also had a great tip for that.....pull wrinkled ribbon across a light bulb instead of breaking out the iron! (which I do not own one, by the way) So I figured if it does crease, I'll do the hot light bulb trick!

I use this method of ribbon and fiber storage. I like it. I think that it may crease the ribbon a little but I just started this type of organization so I don't know if it will be a problem. I would say that maybe not wrapping it too tight might help.
