Thanks for the challenge - I needed to get these check holders made today! A special thanks to MyPrecious and Yvette for layout ideas.
As did MyPrecious, I used a folded envelope. I placed the check in the letter size envelope, decorated the flap side, and folded in half. (I used the envelope with the narrow edge on top, then folded it down - resulting in a nearly square item.) I then decorated the top half. I tied ribbon around it, then glued the folded envelope on a piece of card stock. I had 6 to make so went for simplicity! When the grandkids get these, any artwork will not last long!
