I just loved the faux metal edge tag idea! So after I stamped, colored, and coated the candy cane in Crystal Effects + silver Stickles for the bow, I wrapped the edges with aluminum foil tape by Ranger. I'm not sure how Mona Lisa perfectly mitered the corners on hers, but I did the best I could.
I used the Woodcut Holly wheel rolled on the Certainly Celery pad for the bg. It was too white, so I sponged the edges and all around the bg to tone it down. Colored in the berries with a red Stardust pen, so they're nice and shimmery.
Then I decided that black would make the silver frame show up better, and embossed the greeting in silver also.
Punched holes in the tag, added the ribbon, and I was done!
