Well, I hope I have the technique named right! I stamped the image on vellum and embossed with white detail EP. Then from the back of the vellum I burnished the area of the tulip to raise it. The vellum was colored on the back after I had burnished the flowers. I then debossed the dot dash border. There's where I had a problem......it was not straight *sigh*. Then after I punch the vellum with my needle to remove sections of the vellum, it tore into the border. So....I extended the border up to a point on one side and created a little interest as well as covering up my boo boo.

Wow, Ann, this is just a beautiful card! I love using vellum on cards, but haven't tried the needle punching yet. I think it's called pergamano, and Michele Laycock has a tutorial about it on her blog. The tulips are wonderful and I love the paper you used!
