I tried my hand at Emboss Resist Etching from the Oct 11 newsletter...on a glass block. Not totally satisfied with it...I think I could have left the etch cream on a little longer for a better effect, but too late now!
My DH actually came up with the block idea after he saw my 'plate experiment'.
I found a 20 light set at the dollar store...would have been better if they wire was white...oh well!

great...I so totally want to make one of these blocks...maybe for Christmas gifts for next year...but I need to figure out someone who can drill the holes! Thanks for the "use white wired lights" idea!

This is pretty. I made some last year and will make a few more this year, but without the etching! Drilling the holes is a pain, and white wired lights are better, but I have a hard time finding lights that aren't end to end! TFS!
