I made these for a craft show--I think I like them in just the black and white. Do you? I do not want to deal with the sealing issue...so I don't really want to color them in with pastels and the like.

I bought tumbled marble tiles from Lowes, wiped them off with a damp cloth, let them dry, stamped with black stazon and let them sit. I glued cork to the back--and voila! Stamped coasters! (Some people heat set the Stazon with their heat guns--but I've found that once the stazon is dry--it's permanent!)

I personally like them black and white but when I stamped them that way I asked my husband if he liked them that way or colored in with the chalks. He likes them colored in. I guess everyone has their preferences. Carol

I made them for a craft show in April, I'm with you...I like the black and white best. I colored 2 just to see and was not happy with the results....but since we all have our own taste, I put the colored ones in the sale....Colored went first and one lady asked "don't you have any more colored ones?" ARGH!!!!
