My second faux cloisonne attempt. The Paula Best image was stamped and embossed with gold detail powder on Lands End catalog pages. The stacks of clothes in various colors produced a nice color gradiation.
The image was adhered to card stock and each square was cut out individually and then adhered to the card base. I had some problem with the embossing powder flaking as I trimmed closely, so I touched it up with a gold leafing pen. I think the technique might work better with stronger image lines. The snowflake was punched from gold paper and adhered with a dimensional dot.
