I used an opalescent fuchsia paper that has a leather-like texture. The buckle is punched from gold paper and the "B" is gold-embossed.
The purse is made from a standard 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch card. At the top of the card, I mark in 1 1/4 inches on each side. Then I cut diagonally from the mark to the bottom corner of the card. Another way to assure symmetry is to cut one side of the card, and then reverse the triangle piece you cut off to the other side and use it as a template to cut the second side (like you would the top of a tag).
I punch in equal distance along the top on each side with my hole punch or cropadile. The ribbon is attached with brads.
