Directions:
I typically use 2 inch thick blocks but home dept was out and all but the blue gift block are 4 inch. My DH bought a diamond head drill bit to cut the hole in these, it does take time to cut the hole. Make sure the blocks are room temp as if they are too cold the heat from the drill will shatter time. I then inserted a strand of lights into each block. The holes are on the backside at the bottom. For the picture blocks I scouted out the images online and printed them as a 8x10 (copy paper) and cropped where necessary. Then I used that super tacky tape to adhear the images and over the image with sheets of acetate. I used the same tape to adhere the ribbon and each block thats about 3 yrs of ribbon. The Blue block has a bigger bow because it was a smaller block.

I love these, they are gorgeous. Can you send me full details on how you make these? It looks to me like they are made with the glass tiles used fo shower walls. Do they come with a hole to put the lights, or did you have to driil or use two for each.
