This was the second faux silk card we did at my stamp camp this weekend. I think adding the lighter green brightened up the traditional red & green colors.

Thanks so much! This is a technique I got from the Technique Junkies newsletter (go to www.patstamps.com). If you like learning new things, you really should consider getting a subscription - it is well worth it. Basically to do this, you take a piece of tissue paper a little bigger than the piece of cardstock you will be using. Stamp on it, then crumple it up. Unwrap the tissue and lay it out with the inked side down, but leave some crinkles. Take the piece of c/s that you will be using and run it through a Xyron, peel off the backing then lay the sticky side of the c/s down on the tissue paper. Fold over the excess tissue and tape to the back of the c/s. Now you're ready to use the piece as you wish. Have fun with it!!
