I had so much fun doing this (my third try with this set)! So glad I thought to experiment with stamping on the vellum in white craft... and I have always had a sweet spot for stripes, especially in these beautiful soft colors! The center medallion is embossed in white, watercolored in cameo coral and punched out and raised on a pop dot, as is the next layer which is stamped in close to cocoa and layered on blush blossom. There is french script in blush blossom underneath the vellum but it doesn't really show (my blush blossom needs reinked!). Also, the center circle, edges of the oval and deckled edge of card are all edged in silver encore ink. Had a heck of a time figuring out what to attach the vellum with. You probably can't tell but I first used blush blossom eyelets, but they were not soft enough looking. Then I tried silver diamond brads (through the eyelets) but didn't like that. Finally I found some blush looking brads (non-SU) in my stash so those are through the eyelets. Next time I'll just use the brads and not put them so close to the edge. Sorry for the lengthy description...

And I was just going to THANK YOU for the description. I love the description as it makes it much easier to CASE!! This is exquisite. Like you, I love stripes.. particularily with flowers. And my oh my those white blossoms on the vellum are just over the top fantastic. I love this card. How can I not?!? Stripes and flowers, vellum, soft beautiful colors... It is GORGEOUS!
Made me stop and look at the details! This is a very lovely card and as the others have said, the vellum with craft white embossing is absolutely stunning! No doubt that I'll be casing, too!
