This card was designed with the thought in mind that it was a letter of importance carried in the pocket of a service man and kept with his keepsakes for many years.
To distress it I soaked white paper in strong tea and dried it with a heat gun. I love how it turned out...stains and all. I blotted the outside of the card with black and brown ink to make it look old.

Beautiful work! I did a Master's thesis on soldiers' letters in WWI and this certainly reminds me of those worn pieces of paper I found in the archives!
