For Rememberance Day, we were challenged to use an old look on our card, as well as some red, to remember the red poppies that grew on the battlefields in France. So, I crinkled the brown stripey paper up and then sponged the edges with chocolate chip. The main card is Chocolate Chip, with flowers stamped in the same color ink. The next layer is a dark tan color, with another flower stamped in chocolate chip ink. I layered the stripes on top of that. The "Lest we Forget" saying is hand written (mom does calligraphy) and the edges are sponged also. I used red and brown ribbon, and the center of my primas have a glue dot covered with red glitter, since I didn't have any red primas. Thanks for looking!!
