Thanks to Kim's great idea, I finally did my first technique class last night. Here is what we did: 1) Heat Embossing, 2) Ghosting, 3) Kissing, 4) Pastels on Craft, and 5) Saran Wrap background. We made 5 cards, 5 envelopes, and 5 technique cards. I also gave them all a binder ring to put the technique cards into. It was a great hit! Next time around though, we plan to do 3 techniques each class. Since I'm 10 weeks away from having my 2nd baby, I probably won't hold another class until after the baby comes. This is why we did so many techniques the first time around. I wanted them to have enough ideas to keep them occupied for a little while. :)
This was the most challenging card. With the masking and 2-step stamping, and stringing the ribbon through the side. Plus some ladies weren't really used to tying bows. In the end, though, everyone enjoyed themselves.
For the technique card, I used the left over cardstock with tag punch holes in it to saran wrap a tag. I used More Mustard, Really Rust and Chocolate chip inks - all with the saran wrap technique to give it that look.
