My sister and I always try to do a scrapbook page at our stamp camps, be it a 6 x 6 or a 12 x 12 (lately it's 12 x 12). We wanted to to something for Thanksgiving and this is what we came up with. Cased the turkey from grandmapat. Here's the link to her card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. Made a few changes since we don't have to heart punch anymore. The turkey's tail is made from large and small oval punches, stamped with the long leaf from Autumn Leaf Prints. The body is made using the coluzzle kit and a large oval punch sponged in Close to Cocoa. The feet, hat and beak are from Cold Play and the waddle is from Bubble Queen (it's part of a towel). Attached Googly Eyes with glue dots. l The Monogram T is also stamped in with the long leaf from Autumn Leaf Prints several times to cover image then stamped onto More Mustard, cut out then mounted onto Naturals Ivory and cut out again, then sponged around the edge with Close to Cocoa. The Well-Worn Alphabet is stamped in Close to Cocoa onto More Mustard and sponged aroudn the edges with Close to Cocoa, mounted onto Natural Ivory and sponged again with Close to Cocoa. Used the "tick marks" from Fresh Fillers to imitate the turkey "walking" all over the page. Stamped the speckled image from Itty Bitty Backgrounds in True Thyme all around the edge and under the "Turkey" border onto Really Rust. Added wide Ivory Organdy ribbon with True Thyme down the center under the letters. I don't have a stitching program to make it a "whole" 12 x 12 page, so I scanned it in 2 parts. Hope you like it.
