I don't even know what to say about this card, other than it is so totally opposite of what I set out to create -- I was going to do something watercolored with light and airy colors, a happy card. I ended up with this very black card that looks like it should go to someone in mourning, aside from the fact that it says *appreciated*! Oh well, it was still fun to make!
The black layer is done in paisley with White Craft and the vellum layer is done in paisley with White Stazon.
P.S. Editing to add that it looks like I mounted the main image really crooked on the vellum layer -- I didn't -- it's just the shadows on the black that make it look so crooked!!!

Silly! It doesn't look crooked and it doesn't look all black and mournful! It looks very perky and fun--sassy, in fact! Oh, sure, maybe I would wear polka dots and paisley in mourning but most decent folk would be a little more conservative. Really, Sharon, this is adorable! I love it! A new set for you to play with, and one of my favorites--how great can it be? Nice watercoloring--your shadow lines make the vase and flowers almost look 3-dimensional!
