This is for today's inspiration challenge -- an illustration from a children's book. When I saw the illustration, what struck me were the wide array of bright colors and the black and white checks.
I had a different idea in mind and would have wanted to make those large black and white checks from paper, but doing that, coupled with the large size of this image, would have required a large square card, and I'm totally out of large square envelopes -- bummer -- that's a big deal for me -- I LOVE to make large square cards.
This is the 2nd of 2 images I received from Lodichick in a RAK, with the intention that I make them up and pass them on as another RAK, so the next on my list gets this -- it'll go out on Monday!
The main image is 4 x 4, and this is a standard sized card with the left side scored/hinged.
