The colors for this card started with some bordering blue colored paper I bought in a variety pack from Wall-Mart. I had accumulated so much of this color and was trying to use it up. I bleached this paper for the background first with my snowflake wheel and the color was a little on the lavender side. I was lucky to have some “Sheer Creations” ribbon I had bought at Michael’s and found this to be a good match. I then paired this with elegant eggplant to match the ribbon. I sponge painted a layer of white card stock behind the main snowflake with my elegant eggplant pad to lighted that layer of purple. The center stamp is an old single small stamp I bought years ago from CTMH. I really liked the way the snowflake in the circle lined up with the large snowflake.
