This card was made for the family of a 24-yr. old neighbor who was tragically killed 10/29/06 while serving our country in Iraq. Please take a moment to pray for Troy's parents/family. Note: It may be hard to see the VersaMark stars on the background navy paper.

What a wonderful use for the GBA stamp. The sentiment is beautiful as well. I am sure the family will appreciate your thoughtfulness. A prayer is with them as they go through this tragedy.

I knew immediately what your card meant....before I could even click on it as I am the mother of three soldiers. Praying for God's strength for them and you at this time. Our freedom is bought with blood & is not free. My deepest sympathy

This is a gorgeous card. I wish I had that flag stamp! I have to make a sympathy card for the family of a local soldier who was killed in Iraq. I remember him as the "class clown" in school--always making others laugh, and his sister was in my grade. Now I am at a loss as to what to say or do. Praying for God to strengthen their family during this loss. TFS your beautiful card!

Thank you for posting this card. I just learned of the tragic loss of soldier that my husband was very close too. It has been difficult trying to come up with ideas how to show how I feel. Thank you for giving me such a wonderiful inspiration at such a difficult time. (my husband is leaving for Iraq in just 5 days and will be doing the same job as his friend)
