If I've ever made a card appropriate for the area in which we live, this is it. We have a high population of deer and this is bow season, with rifle season to follow in November. And everybody's Daddy goes a-hunting, sooner or later. Schools close for the opening day of rifle season. It's practically like a national holiday up here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
And before the days of flourescent orange hunting clothes, the men wore that red/black plaid wool -- remember? Fun card to make. I did debate on the ribbon, as most men don't like ribbon on their cards -- at least those hunting type of men!!!
I may use this at a workshop next week.

Southern Michigan girl and I think my mom is still holding on to a coat like that, just in case someone needs to use it!! Love all your cards and this one is no exception. Love how that buck looks in ep on black too. Oh yeah, hubby got a card with this set last night for Sweetest Day!
