When I saw this stamp I knew I wanted to try the aura technique with it. This is my first attempt at this technique. It looks much better IRL than the scan shows. Much more shimmery. And definitely the halo effect I wanted. Question-does the gold metallic ever stop rubbing off? Do I need to seal it? I didn't have any twinkling waters so just used dye ink with an aqua painter to color the family members. Any suggestions?

What a perfect way to use the Aura technique! I have yet to try it myself, by I was wondering about the Encore ink drying. Maybe someone will have a suggestion for you. I use Brilliance metallic reinkers for Polished Stone because I read about how Encore ink can be a problem with rubbing off because it never quite dries - but that's on glossy paper. Maybe using Brilliance ink for the Aura technique is a possibility too? Anyway, this card is really beautiful. TFS. Linda

This card is beautiful. I would love to know how to do this technique also. I have a class coming up on Nov 4th and knowing the ladies that will be there this would be such a hit. TIA
