My granddaughter Taylor (10) made this invitation. She did everything herself and there were quite a few techniques used from embossing, coloring, cutting and popping up and using punches, sponges, brads, liquid applique, gel pen, decorative scissors, and crystal effects. It is really 3-D with all the dimentionals used, but dimention rarely shows up in a scan (sigh). The canopy on the merry-go-round was cut out and popped up as was the Ferris wheel and balloons. The icy cone has crystal effects and the popcorn has liquid applique and yellow pastels.
She wanted the inside to read like a chalk board so she embossed in white and wrote with the white gel pen.
No glitter was used as she deemed glitter was 'for little kids.' I set her straight on that one, but no sale... oh well. It's cute anyway, I think!
