Doubletime is taking a whole sheet of paper and stamping semi randomly over the entire sheet using a combination of images, words/sayings, and/or shadow/shapes stamps. Then you have a whole sheet that you can slice up into smaller chunks to make your cards or scrapbook pages. In this sample the doubletime is the natural panel of flowers. All I had to do was stamp the main body of my card with matching stamps in white craft ink and put on my chunk of matching doubletime. This is also called one-sheet wonders sometimes. But it allows you to throw together a project fairly quickly.
On my gallery, I have a separate album featuring doubletime sheets from different artists and I'm slowly adding samples created from the sheets. Check it out at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3417
You could also do a search for doubletime and see what comes up. Thanks for the compliment.
