Tried a second lunch tin. This one is for my mom for Christmas.
I used the Holiday Thyme DS and followed the SCS tutorial. I embellished with chipboard that I colored with bashful blue and white craft ink. I added some sparkle with some rhinestones I found at Target and finished it off with blue & silver grosgrain.
I also tried a 3d scan that I saw on the Carol Duval show (HGTV). Lift the lid of the scanner and put the tin face down on it - if there are things that might scratch the glass use a sheet protector on the glass. Throw a dark colored piece of fabric over it so there are no light leaks (I used my favorite black T) and scan as normal.
I think it worked OK, since I am a pretty lousy photographer.
