I was inspired by a thread for simple one layer cards on the demo forums from last week so I got my Happy Everything set mounted and played around a little bit. Tried making some "faux polkadot ribbon" with a strip of cardstock and the tool kit with white gel pen. Not sure how thrilled I am with it but it's different. And at least I have some really quick b-day cards to show for my efforts. Maybe will break down and put these on another layer of Tempting Turq. but we'll see.

I like this clean look! It could be mounted on turquoise, but I also like the simplicity of this, and think my customers would be DELIGHTED to see simple and easy designs. This makes sense for first-time stampers, too!
I wonder if you could also punch holes in the turquoise strip to make a faux polka-dot border?? This looks great, tho:) so don't mess with success...

Now there's a thought....but I fear I would have trouble lining them up all straight. guess that's why I went with the mat pack guide and the gel pen in the first place but hey, how about this....punch out a punch of turquoise "holes" and then use the punchies and try to line them up! lol! Jan
