I felt so lucky to open up the mail today! I originally made a school card for Kathy's sister-in-law. I received this fabulous creation today! I can't wait to case it - I thought it would be perfect to case for my Christmas thank you cards.

The background is the faux linen technique (glossy white cs..sand it both ways...sponge on ink...sand again...add another color, etc). I'm sure there's a tutorial here. I think I used Night of Navy, Brocade Blue, and Going Grey. All were sponged on in layers starting with grey, then blue, then navy.
The snowflakes are Night of Navy and White Craft like you thought.
