Made this card for the Inspiration Challenge #43. I don't have the Pocket Fun set so I just drew the pocket and then faux stitched using the set as an example of where to stitch. The pocket is popped up on dimensionals. The blue floral ribbon is some that I have had since I was first learning to sew when I was a teenager in the 60's (dating myself here!) I sewed some of this to the bottom of my bell-bottom jeans. The jeans are long gone but a little piece of leftover ribbon was still in my sewing basket. I knew I had been saving it for something all these years!!

WOWZER, Susan--love how the stitching plays out in the DP. This is just awesome with that gorgeous lace and ribbon trim. Your handmade pocket is perfect! Love every stitch on this!

I don't have Pocket Fun either -- what a great idea you had to hand-draw it. Will have to keep that in mind. I love that pocket. But, back to your card -- it's awesome. I love the lace coming out the top of the pocket, gives a more feminine look to the jeans. Your bg paper was perfect for this challenge. Good job all around, Susan!

Oh what a fun story to go with your card! I never would have known you drew the pocket if you hadn't said so. Love the lace and background paper you chose to go with your pocket.

I never would've known that you drew that pocket; what a fantastic job! I love the lace peeking out of the pocket and your story of the blue floral ribbon. Cute!
