I was playing around with my Coluzzle Stampendous Pull-Card template and couldn't figure out what to do with the resulting pull-card til I realised the Michaels "preggo lady" stamp fit pretty good in the cut rectangle. This is my first time colouring in a full image like this -- I am amazed at my prowess! :^) I used some freebie crayola pencil crayons and didn't care for the initial colour blue I chose for her dress, so I coloured over it again with a darker blue. It was better, but still not my fave so I coloured over it in light brown. Too brown, so I took out the navy and put on a final layer of blue that created a colour that happens to match the inside of the pocket perfectly. Who knew?
Very easy card - the template does all the work! I cut out the pocket and pull-out part with the Coluzzle, punched the Spring Bouquet flowers out and stamped the large flower plus sentiment while the pocket was still unfolded. For the pull-out part, I stamped the lady in black pigment while the CS was in the pocket part, so I could line the image up. Carefully pulled the CS out of the pocket and embossed with Sparkle clear EP. I masked her off and stamped a field of flowers around her in Tattered Rose -- it's more subtle looking IRL. Took out my pencil crayons and found that colouring isn't such a horrible thing after all. I will write my SIL's name on the field of flowers, and a message to her on the back of the card.
Thanks for looking!
