Theme challenge: do a page about the house you grew up in. I will replace the photo of the house with one that is more clear (once my mom sends it to me!).
Journalling: At the time, our brick house was the largest in the neighborhood. We need the space with 7 kids. My dad built it and it was his pride & joy. We had a double lot that reached down to the river. The neighbor kids spent many hours playing "school", "library" and having sleepovers in the red barn. The Ghost Trail was fun too. I shared the purple room with Evelyn for many years, then eventually had my own room. I often tell people I spent my whole life in this one house. In actual fact, it was only 10 years (+5 in the little house we tore down on the same property.) But they were important years for me... my home meant the world to me. There was a sense of security, safety and stability. I loved that home and we were all sad when we had to sell. Especially Dad.

very wow! love this page, these photos and the great memories that you wrote down in your journaling (on those cute tags!) What a great gift! Did you stamp on the hodge podge hardware - hmmm I think it is a c/s tag - it's hard to see dimensions online - very cool!
