In the August/September 2004 papercrafts issue there was a small article on making paperbows (page 91).
I thought this would be perfect for our two sided decorative paper. I also wheeled our SU wrapping paper to match. My customers LOVED it and they each made one at my Holiday stamp camp. The blue double-sided holiday designer paper looks awesome.
Big Bow:
cut 17 strips 1x8
Form loops using mono to adhere
(to form a loop..just make the two ends of the strip meet at an angle..don't make the loop to skinny)
Then make one spiral of loops and secure it with a brad. Then make a 2nd spiral of loops and secure it with a brad.
Then adhere one spiral to the other with a large glue dot.
For the center loop just fold a strip into a circle and adhere it to the center.
I added a tag.
note: 17 strips equals 1 piece of 12x12 plus 1 strip. So it's best to mix and match. Sometimes I mixed decorative paper with my own stamped wrapping paper strips or with some gold/silver paper I had on hand.
