I experimented with Pearl Ex and came up with this. I did swashes of Interference Blue and Turquoise Pearl Ex across the big stamp. I put VersaMark all over the Night of Navy piece of paper and then inked up the small boats stamp with VersaMark and pressed it into the PearlEx so it picked it back up. I did not tighten down the Brads until I'd finished wrapping the cording around them.

Oops, sorry, guess I wasn't real clear in the description. I didn't put Pearl Ex directly on my stamps. I covered the torn piece of Night of Navy completely with VersaMark ink by rubbing the ink pad all over the paper. Then, I applied the Pearl Ex to the piece of VersaMarked paper. Next, I inked up the stamp with VersaMark. I then pressed this into the Pearl Ex on the paper scrap. The VersaMark on the stamp lifted the Pearl Ex back off the paper and let the regular color of the cardstock shine through.
