This is for the Try a New Technique Challenge 81...the Soot Stamping technique and also fits the Sketch Challenge 89. This is my first time doing this technique and it was more fun than I thought. Had no idea what I wanted to do with it, so just started playing around with paper and layout and decided to use the SC89 for the layout. The main (top) panel is the soot technique and I added silver brads to the center of 4 snowflakes, but they didn't scan very well. I used brushed silver CS and basic black CS along with the glossy CS for the soot technique. I have a couple more pieces I did, so I may try to get them done later next week. My son and his family are coming this weekend for a visit, so I just wanted to give this a try before I had little ones roaming around. TFL

Barb wow this is fantastic!! You are probably the first one to get the idea that the original cards had the left side folded over the panel! Awesome!!!!!
