 | | I just got this smiling lab stamp from Whipper Snapper last week so I colored it to look like my furbaby, Sadie. I'm going to send this to the couple who fostered her after she was thrown out a car window when she was two weeks old--my DH and I adopted her when she was 15 weeks old. I wanted to send this to them to say thank you.
Sadie is colored with Prismas and Gamsol, which took a long time because I started out with her a lot lighter but didn't want her to look like a gray lab :) I used a brayer to ink up Print Pattern with caramel ink and stamped it, then stamped the hearts from Background Basics on top of that so they come out just a little darker. You can't really tell, even IRL, but I sponged Ruby Red around the outside of the card to tone down the red a little bit. I love this sentiment with my smiling dog stamp! Thanks for looking! |
