I love this. It is an amazing transformation! I love the colors.I'm going to have to try this technique with my stamping. I used to do this as a kid but we used shoe polish instead of ink. We decorated cans for pens and pencils to make them look like leather. I'll have to pull out the masking tape. Thanks for sharing.

OK!!! This is much better than the before! This is so cool! It is amazing what an artist can do with everyday items! Gotta luv the dollar spot!

Thank you all for your great compliments! I was so glad this worked...it was the first time I did the masking tape technique and I was a little hesitant as to how it was going to turn out...I am already working on another one! I will try to get it done tonight and post it tomorrow morning! Thanks again!
