I pulled out a couple of very old retired sets for this one. The flower is colored with watercolor crayons and sponged around the edges with creamy caramel to tone down the white and give it a gold tone.

Very wonderful -- you have created images almost identical to the inspiration piece -- how fun!!! LOVE the little hardware pieces you created -- are those paper little circle/flower things with a brad in the middle -- they look like they might be all hardware? -- but I'm thinking you made them? Wonderful job, in any event!!!

The buttons from Antiques Collectables looked familiar and yet I couldn't place them until I read the stamp list. Very nice looking card, I really like how you did the layout and the big center flower is awesome!
