this is the wedding invitation i created for my nephew's wedding. i made 65 of them. i tried to capture some of the shimmer of the cs and the embossing in the photo. the bride and groom chose the wedding rings out of several choices i gave them for the small square. the only thing i would have done differently if it were my own decision is, i would have used sheer white ribbon to tie it closed like i did in the sample invitation. but the bride didn't want ribbon.
the border is created with an unmounted etruscan vine wheel. that was such a good decision for me. i never used the wheel, and now that it's a flat stamp i use it frequently. perfect impression every time.
all squares are shimmer cs also. for the larger square, i touched each of the 4 edges to the versa pad, then dipped in the ep.

I too also like the one with the ribbon better, but I can see why maybe for the wedding the bride wanted something with less frills, as this has more of an "elegant" and/or "regal" look to it than the one with the bow. Either one Deb, they are both fine quality beautiful. I love them and would have been proud to send them out; as said before, your nephew is so very lucky to have you as an aunt with your talents!

This one is very beautiful as well -- your work is exquisite -- personally, I would have chosen the other with the ribbon, or added ribbon to this -- but not everyone loves ribbon!!! As long as the bride is happy, and I'm sure she is with such wonderful choices!!!
